What a blast our honeymoon was! Nathan and I went to a cute little place called Aly’s Beach in Florida. It was somewhere I just loved when I visited last summer and knew it would be the perfect place for us to go. There were so many options of places to go but with it being spring break season, all of the resorts and all-inclusive places were so ridiculously priced. So we figured AirBnb was the way to go this time!
We left for our honeymoon on Sunday after our wedding and made the almost 6 hour drive. I’ll be honest, I was absolutely exhausted and sick from the night before (a story I for sure have to tell you all- in another post).
When we arrived to our sweet little place, all I wanted to do was sleep but I was so excited to explore our new home for the week. The next day was really rainy so we spent it out driving around and shopping. This seemed to be the trend for the rest of the week as the weather was just too cold to be hanging out on the beach :(. We made the best of it though!
Here’s some photos of our vacation together!
I would do anything to have this helicopter view again
Y’all… this place is just the best ever! We wanted some bagels one morning and happened to come across this place online and luckily is was just a few minutes from where we were. We wanted to go back every morning because it was that good… We may have even gotten some of their apparel because we loved it that much LOL! (Nathan’s hat above)
We really enjoyed sitting by the fire at night right by our condo at night and listening to the live music!
Fonville Press was so yummy and the perfect place to just sit and hang!
I loved this courtyard green right before walking onto the beach. We loved seeing the families hanging out together. Would be the best spot for a little picnic!
We loved riding bikes around!
This Italian restaurant was our absolute favorite!! We loved that we were able to sit at the bar by the kitchen and watch them make food.
The BEST bruschetta! I’m a bruschetta lover and this is definitely on my top list.
Of course I had to stop for a delicious acaí bowl! Nathan loved it too 😉
This was my favorite part of our vacation. A sunset dolphin ride for the win.
What a beautiful and amazing trip we had! Even despite not getting to lay on the beach, we loved our time together. We can’t wait to make a trip back!
