Today my parents and I leave for our journey in Oklahoma! It’s Luke’s first birthday and we’re so excited to also welcome baby Lily into this world!
Last summer I left in the beginning of June and spent two months with my sister Brooke as we waited for the arrival of Luke. With him being her first baby I know she was so excited but nervous at the same time. I was glad I had the chance to experience all her doctors appointments with her and do all those things I missed at the beginning of her pregnancy. It’s not fun living so far from each other. It was a long two months but filled with so many incredible memories I’ll never forget. I wish I was able to do the same thing this year but having a job set me back. That’s okay though because I love the little kiddos I have the pleasure of working with!
Last summer Brooke and I documented every day together! I posted new videos on YouTube each day and it was something I loved doing. While Brooke and Clay were off at work I got to edit and upload and hang out with Luna! I’m still trying to decide whether or not I’ll do the same this year. Unfortunately I’ll only be spending a week there so I’m just not sure what I’ll be filming. But definitely be on the look out for Lily’s birth vlog! I’ll attach a link to Luke’s from last year. Luke’s Birth Vlog
I’m so excited and can’t wait to spend this next week with everyone. It’s going to be a house full but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Hopefully I can convince Brooke to start her own blog! Be on the look out for that as well! 😉
We could definitely use some prayers for a safe trip and a safe delivery! Brooke will be having another C-Section because she never had time to fully recover from her last one with Luke.
I can’t wait to share these memories with everyone!
Here’s a few photos from our trip last year.
This was a few days after Luke was born and my brother Blake was leaving to go back to Texas. We loved going kayaking on the lake and taking Luna with us! It was an adventure that’s for sure!I spent the Fourth of July out there and we all went to one of Brooke’s friends houses for fireworks. This was the day Luke was born 🙂
